A slightly quicker post for you this week as I'm in gorgeous San Diego, and am currently staring out of my hotel window desperate to get out into the sunshine!
I didn't get on the golden turmeric latte bandwagon for quite a while, and I honestly have no idea why. As someone who loves nourishing warm drinks, this one is perfect. Not only does it taste delicious, but it's great for digestion, inflammation, brain function and a whole host of other things. It's rapidly becoming my new favourite drink, and I hope you'll see why. It's just the most nourishing and creamy drink, but really feels like you're having something healthy.
Feel free to adapt this golden turmeric latte recipe as you see fit, but I wouldn't recommend adding more turmeric unless you love the taste of it on its own. If you like a sweeter drink, add some maple syrup or extra dates. The black pepper may seem like a strange addition, but you don't really taste it and it's important because it improves the absorption of the turmeric into your system, increasing the benefits you'll get from it. Enjoy!
